Our Take: "It ain't easy being me," sang Tupac in 1995, "Will I see the penitentiary or will I stay free?" Demented as it may sound, Tupac probably would have predicted his own untimely death before he'd ever imagine his likeness shrunk, formed in plastic and packaged neatly into a store-ready box. This item may be a sad metaphor for what's happened to the soulful message-based roots of his music, but Tupac meets the two requirements for high-price memorabilia: worldwide fame and a sudden end.
