Green Day's relatively recent foray into politically-charged stadium rock has been met with equally provocative high-concept music videos. For their latest--'East Jesus Nowhere,' a tune which the band brought in full force to Sunday night's VMAs--the guys opted to capture the song's bombastic energy through a flashy montage of live concert footage. Check out 'East Jesus Nowhere' after the jump.

Holy Crap Batman-this is amazing. It is inovative and really powerful.I think the parts with the guitar sounding of spanish influence or mandolin?I don't know, but it serves as a foreboding tune of possible demise?(or warning). To me,when they freeze their images they become characters. There is a detachment in this video that i think is moving and yet sinister.I bet you were not expecting this type of comment!Music is for personal interpretation-I really like the polish that is coming from Green Day.I would love to talk with Billie Joe about this video as my head has been reeling since I first heard the song.

OMFG FREAKIN AMAZING!!!!!!!!
I saw this one performed live in New Orleans and Billie changed the lyrics to..."A fire burns today of blasphemy and genocide the sirens of decay will infiltrate makayla" and she fell when he screamed"yeah!" and she was awesome at it she was about 8 or so and she was really good!!!!! like she fell not that fake fall when you bend your knees. Then again if that were me up there i would've fell that way too mostly because I passed out because Billie Joe touched my face:DD They are thee best band ever i love them to death and i will always be a fan!!!!!!!
