What's That Song From the 'House' Season Premiere?

'No Surprises' by RadioheadFor all of Radiohead's bottomless capacity to create unsettling music, the gentle kiddie singsong of 'No Surprises' might be the group's most disturbing moment to date (and one of Spinner's Most Exquisitely Sad Songs). Apt choice, then, to accompany 'House's struggles in the not-so-funny farm at the outset of last night's season premiere, in which the cranky MD is dealing with a Vicodin addiction. 'No Surprises' was a surprise replacement for the show's familiar opening sequence courtesy of Massive Attack's 'Teardrop.' But House's ability to come up for air after his hallucinations, as corrosive as ever -- no surprises there.

Really? They changed the song? Oh wait, I never watch the show, so I wouldn't have noticed. Did like Laurie as the tall, skinny bad guy from the live version of 101 Dalmations. Wasn't he also the husband to Geena Davis in one of the Stuart Little movies?

I also saw him in a few episodes of the British MI-5 program. He was the same type of guy.

Also in RED DWARF from the UK

Yes, he was in both those movies. He's famous in the UK for being a comic actor in such shows as Black Adder, Jeeves & Wooster and A Little Touch of Frye and Laurie (can't quite remember that title!). He usually plays an upper class British twit. He's very talented and I was surprised when I first saw him as House, so different to his usual roles.

I didn't even notice either, I thought they were doing the same as other shows and dropped the opening credits and went with just showing credits while the show was on.

...and Elaine's airplane seatmate in a Seinfeld episode!
Hell - Just go to IMDB to see the many things Hugh has done.

Actually he was Jennifer Aniston's seatmate in a "Friends" episode where Rachel flies to London to see Ross before his wedding. He may have been on Seinfeld also, I don't know.

The story line was so awesome, I almost didn't notice the music. A new and "improved" house deserves different music?

There was a song for the opening credits?

I didn't care for the music or the episode. I was expecting more and was disappointed. Hopefully the season will be better.
