Doves Say New Album Unlikely Before 2012 + More

Doves have said they will delay the recording of their new album until after finishing a greatest hits -- and are unlikely to release new music until 2012. "I doubt we'll finish our fifth album until at least two or three years' time," singer Jez Williams told NME.

The Pogues have unveiled details of a tour across the US, Ireland and the UK. The tour starts in Seattle on Oct. 10 and then visit Belfast and Dublin before finishing at London's Brixton Academy on Dec. 18 and 19.

The Big Pink have said they want "to do a Coldplay" while supporting Muse on their forthcoming arena tour of the UK. "It's a long way from playing what we're used to, but we are psyched and are going to try to out-Muse Muse," Milo Cordell told the NME.

Neutral Milk Hotel's two albums, 'Avery Island' and 'In the Aeroplane over the Sea,' are to be re-released on vinyl by Merge Records. Both albums will be available on Nov. 3.
