Andy Williams Believes Obama 'Wants the Country to Fail'

More and more people have been criticizing President Barack Obama for the way he's been handling the budget, the health care system and unemployment, and now we can add Andy Williams to that list. The 81-year-old veteran pop singer and longtime Republican has recently revealed his negative opinions about the current president.

"Obama is following Marxist theory," he told the UK's Radio Times. "He's taken over the banks and the car industry. He wants the country to fail."

Williams doesn't stop there. "[I] don't like him at all," said the singer, who also revealed he was close to the Kennedy family. "I think he wants to create a socialist country. The people he associates with are very Left-wing. One is registered as a Communist."

Will this mean an Andy Williams appearance on Fox News? We'll just have to wait and see.

Now, the Dems will accuse Andy Williams of being racist. That's what happens every time someone criticizes the president.

if obama wanted this country to fail, all he had to do is withdraw his name from the list to run for presdent. why are u and others acting like this is such a surprise that a republican would come out and say he doesnt like the president...so much for conservative christian values which eveyone can see for themselves is a scam.no, republicans just cant seem to get over that this man won and they lost, thats it in a nut shell, they dont care if he is trying to make america better for everyone, not just the rich. i just wonder when conservites get before God on that great day, what will they have to say, uhhh, i dont like the poor, i complained every time some one tried to help the needy, well, i got mine, the hell with the rest, my tax dollars aint going toward helping nobody, and the poor sucks, let them stay hungry. g. obama aint got the baks are the car industry, u people are nuts.

Have always loved your singing and am happy you are a Republican and speaking out. Wish I was a person of fame so I could speak my mind like you do and be listened to. I am so glad you spoke it for me. I too believe that Obama wants to make the America we know and love into one of slaves to his bidding. Yes I do think he wants to see America fail so he can bring in his left wing friends to see that his agenda is followed to the letter or else we will be punished in some terrible way. At this point I do not put anything past him in seeing to it that his rule is like no other ever in America. He wants all power and he wants who he wants to help him carry it out. Keep speaking out Mr. Williams, it is people like you who help keep the balance of good and evil. Let's pray that good will soon take over the evil we see and feel in our America. God bless America and God bless you. Yes, go on Hannity or O'Reilly and maybe your message will be heard more loudly.
    sincerely,
    one of your admirers,
    Margaret

I agree that a lot of people share Andy's views. They are part of the lunatic fringe of people in the country who refuse to accept the results of the presidential election and can't get over their defeat.

3 CHEERS for Andy Williams. I agree with you 100%. I am so glad I didn't vote for him and still can't believe he's the President of USA and I have to look and hear him for 4 years. What will he do to the US next is a scary thought.

I agree. He is not a good president who has let his authority go to his head, and in my opinion is ruining our country. Hopefully we can survive until his term runs out. May God bless us and give us the stength we need to see us through these hard times and we can elect someone who will do the job of the president for God, the people and our beloved country.

Republicans can't get over that they lost? At least we didn't go to court to try and steal votes like Al Gore did in the 2000 election. Republican can disagree with class. Dems behave like petulant children when they don't get their way. Without ACORN, this President would still be a no-count, do-nothing Senator proudly representing Chicago-style politics. You Dems must be SO proud!

Good for Mr. Williams. By the way what's wrong with Fox News. Last time I checked we still had free speech. Check the ratings Fox News is number 1 in ratings, seems the people know where they can get the news, fair and balanced. The trouble with Liberals is if you don't agree with them your wrong. If they want to get along they can change their views. As for the lunitic fringe, since when did expressing your opinion become lunitic. Oh I see we don't agree with you so we are wrong. Just an other example of liberals view of my way or the highway.

It is really amazing, our country was screwed up for 8 years going to hell in a handbasket. Banks, Wall Street, Financial, and Auto Industries all failing. The same Republicans who voted for the Bail-outs are calling the President a Socialist. Preachers, Ex- Entertainers like Andy Williams, Right Wing TV & Radio are publically praying and saying they want President Obama to fail. There are more threats of death to this President than any in our history. So what is that saying? It is saying there are a lot of Cowards out there, who hide their racism under the guise of their hate for the government. We have seen tremendous improvements in a lot of areas in a short time.

Denny is the perfect example of the stupid following the stupid. No argument, so it's either an insult, racism, and whatever.Pathetic and embarassing for the democratic party. These will be the first to complain as they lose their rights and are taxed to death. Sad for these lemmings.

Andy's comments are very true. Unfortunately, it is politically incorrect to express this view. Thanks to him for having the guts to say in public what so many US citizens say in private. Let your votes speak for you next year!

I don't know if you're deranged or if Andy is -- Obama didn't take over any banks or auto companies -- he lent them money, which, if you read, know a lot of the bank CEOs used for personal gain. I don't know where you people get these ideas -- you've gotta stop listening to Rush Limbaugh.

We do not dislike NObama for being black or dem you idiots. It is because of his ideal country results in the government dictating everything in our lives from healthcare to the price we pay for a soda.

Marilyn DeBrase, He bailed the same idiot's that caused the problem to start with. Do you really think they are going to pay back the money? Then you need to have the wool cut from in front of your eyes. NObama's sheeple are truly the blindest of all the former sheeple.

I agree with you Mary, and Andy, always new I liked him.
Some of these people do not understand it is not about winning or losing that Republicans can't get over it is the fact that this so called president has views that do not reflect the way the American people think or feel or are used to. You people better smarten up, we are so used to living our lives with the freedom to do as we wish,(why do you think all these people come to America),but little by little it is being taken away from us because all these people that support this guy are too afraid to say anything because they do not want to be seen as politically incorrect. I for one am sick and tired of acting like it is ok that my husband works like a dog and we pay top dollar for health insurance and the lazy people that don't work (yes thats right lazy, there are jobs out there believe me I have looked)will get health insurance because people like us keep paying our taxes and our mortgages and we are not walking away and letting the government take care of us. Not to mention we have to struggle to put our kids through college because all of the money is given to foreign kids or dare I say minorities. It is the people like us that work and do what we are supposed to that suffer everyone else gets everything handed to them and this guy will make sure of that. So people please take of your blinders and stop being so proud that you voted for a black president to prove to your friends or whom ever that you are "politically correct" it is not about what color he is, it is about what he stands for or does not stand for which is AMERICA.
