Springsteen to Play Entire 'Born in the U.S.A.' Album at Giants Stadium

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have officially caught the full album fever. In response to the tremendous response the band got when they played 'Born to Run' in its entirety in Chicago last week, Springsteen has decided to turn his upcoming five-night Giants Stadium run into a showcase for three of his biggest albums.Joining 'Born to Run,' which will be played again Oct. 8, the rotation includes 'Darkness on the Edge of Town,' getting its standalone moment Oct. 2, and 'Born in the U.S.A' Oct. 3 and 9.
These shows will mark the first time Springsteen and the band will perform the full 'Born in The U.S.A.,' the 1984 album that spawned seven Top 10 singles and brought him from rock radio to pop icon. 'Darkness' got the full treatment last year when the E Street Band played both 'Darkness' and 'Born to Run' at a benefit show at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, N.J.
But for a generation of fans who grew up 'Dancing in the Dark,' the opportunity to see the album in full 25 years after its release is definitely a chance to relive their 'Glory Days.' These shows mark the final concerts at Giants Stadium, and we can't think of a better way to close it out than with 'Born in The U.S.A' blaring from the PA system one final time.

Springsteen was dedicating entire shows to the Vietnam vets in the late 70s when the war was still taboo, vets were being ignored and no-one prominent had the guts to stick up for those guys because of the potential fallout. Get your facts right over comments about his view of those who serve. It's BS to suggest he's been anything other than supportive.
BRUCE wrecked me with Wrecking Ball, what a great song. And on Friday nite, The Light in Darkness with the whole album Darkness on The Edge of Town in sequence. Damn that is going to be amazing!

Bruce Springsteen Rocks and i don't give a flyin !@#% about you a$$#oles who have nothing but hate for him.
why bother commenting? we don't care about what you think of Bruce.
Go find something you like & comment on that.
You obviously don't know great music, what a shame.
Springsteen ruined all other live music for me, as once I saw one of his 3 to 4 hour shows, it was like no one else was even trying. I'm looking forward to my 48th and 49th shows in November and the first one was in 1978. Who knows how many opportunities there will be to see the greatness of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in the future?
Haters out there, why worry about this or even comment? Surely, you have better things to do with your time, right?
Born in the USA is the greatest album ever! I'm sure most people wont agree, but it's my all time favorite. I'd love to be at that show.

He has become what he is because of what he has done-not who he is-as is the case in most celebrities.
This band is legendary-truly.
I was at the Chicago show, and it was an amazing night. I could only wish to be at a Darkness or USA show.

Still selling out major stadiums at the age of 60!!!!! He's been doing that for 35 years. OH, but Dougie knows better. HA HA HA Who do you follow Dogie??? Afraid to say. Hide Hide Hide
I said once I'll say it again...Springsteen is killing rock and roll!
