Tickets for 2010's Glastonbury festival sold out in less than 24 hours after going on sale on Sunday morning. The festival celebrates its 40th anniversary next year.British indie-rock outfit the Maccabees have re-recorded their first single 'No Kind Words' with rapper Roots Manuva. Guitarist Hugo White told the B.B.C'.'s 6 Music: "It's still a bit under wraps until we decide what to do with it."
Coldplay have chosen Bat For Lashes to support them on their South American tour. The tour kicks off in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in February.
Jarvis Cocker says he won his role as Petey in the forthcoming Wes Anderson film 'Fantastic Mr Fox' after meeting the director while DJing at a Paris party.
