Just a few weeks ago, Tori Amos formally announced the release of her first-ever seasonal album, titled 'Midwinter Graces,' due November 10. The effort will feature Amos covering a handful of classic carols ('What Child, Nowell,' 'Star of Wonder') along with several of her own original songs, including 'Pink and Glitter' and 'Our New Year.'While some folks may be scratching their heads -- and fair enough, as Amos isn't exactly pleasantly aligned with religious holidays -- the minister's daughter did get her musical start, at least part, playing in her father's Baltimore area church, often on Christmas. In addition, Amos devotees are long familiar with her covers of holiday staples 'Little Drummer Boy' and 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,' though those two tracks will not be featured on 'Midwinter Graces.'
While the cover art was revealed along with release date and tracklist details, Amos sent along another picture from the project, which you can check out after the jump.
