The long-awaited Pavement reunion now has its first non-US dates, as the band announced they are to be curating the ATP Weekend at Minehead in Somerset next May.Stephen Malkmus and band will also headline the event, which takes place at the Butlins holiday camp in Minehead from May 14 to 16.
No other acts have yet been announced for the festival.
As previously reported on Spinner, the news of Pavement's reunion after 10 years has been one of the year's biggest music stories. The band's guitarist Scoot 'Spiral Stairs' Kannberg told NME last month the band would "definitely" tour the UK but seemed to rule out playing the traditional festival circuit.
The only other dates so far confirmed for the Pavement reunion are the four dates at New York's Central Park next September which kick-started the reformation. But, as ever, stay tuned.
