Mew Perform Live on the Interface

Mew Given that Mew create such intricate, well-crafted indie rock tunes, it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that the Danish band are somewhat confused by 'Rock Band.' Frontman Jonas Bjerre recently gave the game a whirl and after losing to a little kid, he couldn't understand why people were so obsessive about the game's fake instruments. "I can't help but to feel ... it's a lot of effort put into learning something completely useless in a way," he told Spinner at a recent Interface taping.

Despite having a preference for shredding on a real guitar, Bjerre also admits there might be another reason the band is resistant to the phenomenon. "Maybe we're just old," he admits. Age aside, Mew are at the top of their game. For proof, watch them perform songs from their new album, 'No More Stories ...,' using some actual instruments in our studio.
