Item: R.E.M. MICROWAVE'S PERSONAL 1986 PAGEANTRY TOUR JACKETPrice: US $750.00
Seller's description: R.E.M. collectors, I am offering a very rare item from my personal REM collection. This is a museum type piece. Truly one of a kind. It is the 1986 Pageantry Tour jacket that belonged to the guitar tech Mark 'Microwave" Mytrowitz, as can be seen in the pictures. This item is 100% authentic and was purchased from his ex-wife after his unfortunate death in 2008. I have a number of documents that can be shown to prove that they were married and the item is legitimate. I have been collecting REM musical memorabilia now for over 20 years and will back this item 100%. If you have any questions I will answer them to the best of my ability. The jacket is size 42. Yes there is a high reserve for this piece. It is not outrageous but what I feel a one-of-a-kind purchase like this is worth and I will not sell it if it does not meet that price.
Our Take: If you're looking to fill out the apparel section of your personal R.E.M. collection, this item's for you. You can put it right across the closet from the pictures of items mentioned in 'It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine).' Now that's better.
