The cavalcade of Beatles material shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. Hot on the heels of the rerelease of all of the Fab Four's studio albums -- covered in great detail on Spinner -- comes news of a new tome to hit stores in time for the holidays.'The Beatles Box of Vision' includes three books, one of which is storage space for the CDs from the remastered albums.
The first book is an LP-sized, 200-page collection of original Beatles album artwork, while the second features a "catalography" of the band's career, which also includes a host of photos and liner notes.
The third allows Beatles aficionados to store the CDs of the remasters safe from harm and sticky fingers.
The collection is on sale now from Boxofvision.com and Harddaysnightshop.com.
Designer Jonathan Polk described it as the "ultimate fan piece." The cost? A mere £82.50 ($131 US) to you.

I think that this is a bit misleading. The title implies that the Beatles are releasing this, but it is simply a Beatles licensed product.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has bought Beatles licensed products and been disappointed (nothing against BoxOfVision, which I've never bought from and this product does seem pretty gear, but still it is not something the Beatles created and released, at least, I could not tell from the link above that the Beatles created this).

First off, your reader is correct-- this is licensed by Apple Corps (the Beatles company) not released by them. The press release this is based on is clear about this.
Second, the prodcut is availabel i the US for $89.99 ;lus hsipping at www.BoxofVision.com

I too was disappointed w/the "Box." The book of album reproductions was nice, but the whole set really isn't worth more than $30-40. If I could, I would return it.

C'mon guys...you are writing your names and views in history.
My God, what will these four guys be seen as in 100,200,300 or more years?
Savour the moment. You are seeing history written...
Be part of it.
