Outtakes of songs recorded at the White Stripes' first ever recording session will be released via Jack White's own Third Man Records later this month. Fresh off his Lil Wayne collaboration, Weezer's Rivers Cuomo announced he'll be heading to the studio with Katy Perry.
Pink Floyd's David Gilmour is following in the footsteps of newly anointed academic Jarvis Cocker. Gilmour is set to receive an honorary doctorate by Anglia Ruskin University this November.
Atlas Sounds' sophomore album, 'Logos,' is being released next week with a bonus six-song EP if fans order directly from Rough Trade.
