When Drew Barrymore chose 'Whip It' as her directorial debut, she picked the script partially for its exploration of friendship. "You love to rock out with your best friend and cruise and drive and listen to the Ramones and play air guitar," she says. "And yet, at the same time, they will come and slap you when you're acting out of line." The Ramones are the perfect band to illustrate her point. "Hey! Ho!
