Alleged Witness Recounts Fight That Ended Oasis

The backstage fight in Paris that put an end to Oasis last August was downright hilarious, according to "a mole" who reveals he saw the dispute between Noel and Liam Gallagher firsthand.

"The papers quite rightly reported the fact that Noel stormed out from their gig in Paris a minute before they were due onstage because Liam smashed his guitar -- but the whole five minutes the saga lasted were proper comedy," according to Holymoly.com, which cited a source as an eyewitness. The argument led to the band canceling its gig at the Paris Rock en Seine festival on Aug. 28 and prompted brainchild Noel Gallagher to quit the band the following day.

It seems Liam had brought an acoustic guitar to play in the band's dressing room and the fight broke out after Noel made a "pithy comment about Liam's playing," the mole explains. "Without thinking, Liam stood up and hurled the guitar at Noel. Naturally it missed and landed next at his feet instead."

"Realizing Liam had mistakenly thrown his own guitar, Noel looked down, shrugged and stamped seven bells of s--- out of it until it resembled the bottom of a hamster's cage," Holymoly said, giving us all insight into what might have prompted Liam to enter the stage area and smash up his older sibling's guitars and leave the concert.
