Mariqueen Maandig and Trent ReznorSorry, ladies -- Trent Reznor is officially off the market. The former Nine Inch Nails frontman got hitched to his fiancée, former West Indian Girl singer Mariqueen Maandig, in a ceremony held Saturday, Oct. 17.

Reznor's NIN bandmate Danny Lohner broke the news cryptically to fans via Twitter over the weekend, writing "Goths the world over will mourn this day -- off to a wedding." Lohner also tweeted a picture of Reznor and Maandig dancing together with the caption "Congrats!"

The couple reportedly hired photographer Robert Evans, the man who lensed the nuptials of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, although a formal statement from Reznor has yet to surface.

Maandig and Reznor kept their relationship under wraps until April, when they were engaged. Maandig quit her band in August, with Reznor retiring his Nine Inch Nails outfit in September.

I have loved Trent Reznor for decades!!! In 1992, I was "That Girl" that always wore his concert shirts and knew all of the lyrics to his songs! I have fantasied and dreamed about him on many a night... But I am glad to see him happy. HOWEVER!

WHY did he have to RETIRE making music!!!! That just sucks!!!! Nine Inch Nails is NOT Nine Inch Nailas without Trent! That enough to cry about!!!

He's not retiring music, he's just not going to do live acts anymore (his voice cant bear it).

Trent Reznor isn't the former frontman of NIN. Trent hasn't "retired" NIN. He's just stopped touring for the "foreseeable future." As much touring as he has done in the past few years, I can hardly blame him.

I think its all stupid.I understand he wants to be happy that's great. For the longest time Trent has told us that he would leave his music once he found his love, because she would be more important. BUT he gave up on his fans, that's how I felt anyways. His music inspired and helped thousands, and now it's no more. True fans know how he really is, his music is a diary and I don't think he can just sit for a very long time and not write music. Unless his wife does a good job distracting him. I just hope its like how a lot of bands quit but they come back sooner or later.
