Courtney Love Ordered to Pay Thousands to Maid Service
It seems Courtney Love's money troubles aren't ending anytime soon. A Los Angeles judge has ordered the Hole frontwoman to pay $3,058.48 to Elite Maids. The housecleaning service clamed Love didn't pay for the work done in her home and filed the lawsuit in February. Love was scheduled to appear in court last Thursday but her absence caused the judge to rule against her by default.
The news comes hot on the heels of news that Love allegedly owes over $300,000 in unpaid taxes. Add that to an American Express lawsuit for unpaid charges and a libel lawsuit filed by a clothing designer, and it's safe to say Courtney's going to be taken to the cleaners.
On a small positive note, UK's the Sun reports that Love is finishing up her long-awaited album, 'Nobody's Daughter,' and should have a single out in January, 2010.
