"They're not real people before [age six], anyway. They all look the same." --LemmyIn a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Motorhead's frontman admitted he has no regrets when it comes to missing the earliest years of his son's life. As he put it, other than forming a "weird bond" with a baby, there isn't much else you can do.

He's an idiot

What do you expect from a stoned Stone?
Brentat 10-22-2009
nice attempt, but Lemmy is not a Stone. he's the leader of Motorhead. before you try to put down someone for not living up to your parental expectations, try doing some homework instead of shooting off at the mouth

this guy should be nuetered quickly before he has a chance to procreate. he has no idea what it means to be a father...and he's wrong. much relationally is achieved by the first 6 years. if he read, he's know it.

Yikes! I think he still qualifies as a "non-person".

Just another uneducated comment from a so called "rock star"!!
Franat 10-22-2009
Apparently, his Parents felt the same way about him.

I love Motorhead and I think Lemmy is awesome but that is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. If he would've been there, he would've known that.

he makes no damn sense.

He does not look like a real person now
Liamat 10-22-2009
Of course they're not real people before six, and only a minority are people afterwards. The majority of humanity (through no fault of their own) are just drones neccesary to keep things running for the very few whose work justifies the existence of the species at all. Half of those work for JPL and NASA; the rest are mostly physicists and musicians. FIGHT GLOBAL WARMING, EAT A BABY.

You can't be serious. Have you ever interacted with a newborn, and then on to 2, 3, 4, 5 etc... They most certainly are "real people", and fascinating little ones at that! Give yourself a treat, and aqqaint yourself with at least one, or even a few. God bless!

I heard Lemme's doctor told him to "not" quit doing heroine because he could die.

What an ididot!! I have been in the Child Care bussiness for 18 years and believe me they are little people with a lot of feeling and youi better beleive the first 3 years are a some of the most influetial. You better have a good person to care for your precious kids. The reaction from my toddleers when we listen to music and sing and dress up and color is unbelievable. I thank God that I recognize them as little people with feelings!!!

READ THE ENTIRE ARTICLE STUPID PEOPLE!!!!
To the person who wondered who would be with him, Really? How many fat disgusting people out there are bearing children, my guess is you are one of those. With the statistics on obeseity I have a better chance of being right than wrong on that count.
To Cyndee Fettig: "In the child care business" means nothing, it just means you are a stay at home mom who takes care of other peoples kids while they have worthwile lives.
brutal republicat 10-23-2009
Did his son come in to harm from this comment? No. (Future emotional harm doesn't count. If your kid is on ADHD medication you're a bad parent) ((Just thought I'd throw that out there)) Chill out people. Besides, Lemmy is God. Grrr... kids ARE real people!....Seriously people do something better with your lives other than getting outraged by the obvious.

Is there a reason we as Americans still equate fame with intelligence?
kimat 10-22-2009
Sorry, I agree with him; they're pretty much useless until they're about 5 or 6, which is why I don't have kids.
