Going back to their 'Buddy Holly' breakout on MTV, Weezer has always prided itself on unusually crafty -- and usually charming -- music videos. Their new one for a rollicking little ditty called '(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To,' from their new album 'Raditude' is no exception. Directed by Marc Webb, the video takes place in Weezerville, a town where the only inhabitants are the four band members times whatever number it takes to equal the town's population, including a gas station attendant version of Rivers Cuomo and a barber incarnation of Brian Bell. Enter a love interest which wrecks havoc on the town, insidiously and indirectly killing everyone in the band except for Cuomo, who wins the girl's heart. Sorta. It's a surprise ending with a twist that should make Weezer fans happy -- their band is going to be okay. Neither love, nor death can tear them apart. We're not sure if that's fact or fiction but what happens in Weezerville, stays in Weezerville. Check out the video after the jump.

My former son-in-law played in "Weezer". He played bass guitar. When he met my daughter, Amy, Rivers told Jason that it was either stay with the band and leave Amy or he was out of the band. I had done some singing when I was in college, so when I heard from them, I told them not to worry, because I could help them. They named themselves "Chopper One". We followed them to France, where they played at Chesterfield American Rock & Roll Club. They no long are together, but Jason works for a music company. I did however, see Rivers, later & told him who I was. This was in Cleve Oh. in the "flats"
