Jack White to Open 'Pop Up' Record Store in London

The label owned by White Stripes, Raconteurs and Dead Weather main man Jack White is to open a temporary store in London on Friday and Saturday (Oct. 30 and 31)

For two days only the Third Man Records and Novelties Shop will open in Shoreditch Church in east London to coincide with the visit of White's Dead Weather project. The band play the capital's Brixton Academy on Thursday (Oct. 29) and the Forum on Friday.

The store has previously been set up for equally brief stays in New York and Los Angeles, but its London appearance will be the first outside the US.

Opening between the hours of 11am to 6pm on Friday and 11am to 9pm on Saturday the store will be selling a range of records and merchandise from White's bands, with some exclusive items made especially for the London visit.

Whether or not White will make an appearance is yet to be confirmed, but fans are advised to be vigilant and listen for further announcements.
