Amid the toings and froings over the apparently troubled fourth Strokes album, singer Julian Casablancas is getting a change of scene by taking his soon-to-be-released solo album 'Phrazes of the Young' out on the road on a European tour.Casablancas' first solo tour will take him to Copenhagen (Nov. 30), Stockholm (Dec. 1), Berlin (Dec. 3), Amsterdam (Dec.5), Paris (Dec. 8), Manchester (Dec. 11), Glasgow (Dec. 12), Dublin (Dec. 14) and London (Dec. 16).
His debut solo album comes out on Nov. 2, but the Strokes frontman is streaming it via NME.com and We7. If you're outside the UK, however, you'll only get a 30-second clip of each song.
He recently admitted the Strokes were having problems sorting out their follow-up to "First Impressions of Earth,' with the band members disagreeing over how the new record should sound.
