Michael Jackson Autopsy Photo Allegedly Leaked

Michael JacksonIt seems every positive Michael Jackson story is followed by something bizarre and twisted. Just as the concert rehearsal film 'This Is It' premiered around the world to record numbers, a report surfaced saying that an autopsy photo of the King of Pop could be released soon.

Gerald Posner, a writer for the Daily Beast, says he was contacted by a London photo agent -- a man who had previously tried to sell him photos from Princess Diana's fatal car accident -- claiming to have a picture from Michael Jackson's autopsy. The rumored photo was supposedly leaked to a Los Angeles restaurant owner, who's been showing it off to friends, by a "high-ranking police friend."

From there, the story gets even more grisly. Posner says he talked to two people independently who claimed to have seen the photo, which one described as "shocking." "[The photo] is of Jackson, his eyes wide open, lying on his back on a metal autopsy table," Posner wrote, based on the accounts. "The picture is of Jackson's head only, and taken from the corpse's left side, from someone who was standing, and at about a 30-degree angle toward the body. The front of the pop star's skull is shaved. His ashen face is stripped of any makeup. The lips are flat and wide, but without lipstick. A scar, which he had hidden under makeup whenever he went out, is visible on his left check. His tattooed eyebrows are the only other visible mark on his face."

Posner eventually contacted the unnamed restaurateur, who wouldn't offer up any info about the picture and stopped responding after several text messages. The photo is said to be of high resolution -- not a camera phone picture, according to one witness -- and could become a serious police matter. Los Angeles Chief Coroner Ed Winter told Posner that he heard about the alleged photo but couldn't offer any opinion on its legitimacy without seeing it personally. He also noted that several fake autopsy reports have been leaked in the case, casting further doubt about the photo.

Should the photo prove to be real, one British tabloid photo editor told Posner it could be worth up to a $1 million, provided it's legally purchased.

The new Michael Jackson movie "This is it" is a hit. We truly lost a legend, and more recently I read a terrific article about him at, www.ebmpublishing.com, that shows him in a different light.

I personally find this matter disgusting. I feel that the people who took this photo are monsters, the people trying to sell it are exactly the same and the press who are even now making money out of it (saying they believe its a disgrace, yeah right) are similar.
The thing is these people obviously don't believe there will be any come back on them.
Well there is and it's your worst possible mightmare "DIVINE RETRIBUTION" I'm not a religious person, but fairly easy going and accepting of most attitudes but I put these people in the same category as I would terrorists rapists and paedophiles.
Answer? Put the lot on a rickety raft in the middle of the north sea in winter.

Leave this lovely man alone!! he would not like this, he is at peace, and knows more than us about peace, he would say STOP . We have his music, his pictures, still to enjoy, remember those.

How sick can some people be. Just leave him alone and let him RIP - how would they like it if it was a member of their family having this done to them - they wouldn't, so just get a life to whoever took this photo.

I agree. I mean, I was never really a fan of the man himself although he was a brilliant musician...no doubt about that. This however is sick! I pray to God that now Michael Jackson is dead he can finally have some peace. We can do without sick morons like this who would even consider taking these sorts of photos just to make money...just proves what a disturbed world we live in.

I don't think this photo, if it exists, is authentic but if it is, heads should drop if it gets aired ANYWHERE. Michael Jackson deserves RESPECT. He was accused of things he was not capable of doing and even though was proven innocent in a court of law, still people speak about him as if he were a monster. They obviously get their news from the tabloids but if they bothered at all to dig a bit deeper they would discover the truth. If I were Joe and Catherine Jackson I would be getting my lawyers ready for the biggest law suit in history. I for one will NEVER look at such a photo. We want to remember him as he lived, vibrant and beautiful. I personally would not rest until the people responsible are incarcerated if this goes ahead. Especially tabloid editors.

This man has lived in the limelight all his life, His alledged mental health problems and reported substance misuse are frequently noted,He had from most reports a difficult and bizzare childhood,He never found true happiness in life so for eveyones sake leave this man to rest in peace.
Think of the family, If there were photos of one of your loved ones in this situation how would you feel?

Ok Tony so imagine this.... someone accuses you of this terrible thing and your a very gentle (but very rich) person. Its investigated (as it should be) but your very ill with hospital visits every day. You decide that to offer help to this child (whom you loved as just that a child) would be of benefil to him as he will be questioned and maybe have no choice but to answer with his PARENTS lies.
A few years on and someone else decides to "jump on the wagon" (after all its only a bloke who's been accused before, there might just be some money in this) So you go to court this time because you can't take this accusation again.
"INNOCENCE IS PROVEN" but people wont leave you alone, sTill accusing even AFTER your death.
    now add this.... YOUR FAMOUS!

    GET REAL MAN!
