Foo Fighters Play Live Gig on Facebook

Dave Grohl (pictured) is going back to his day job as frontman of the Foo Fighters for a gig to be broadcast on the band's Facebook page.Grohl, currently on drumming duties for his supergroup side project Them Crooked Vultures, will play the show at the band's rehearsal space in the Studio 606 complex in California. It will be simultaneously broadcast on their Facebook profile page at 2am GMT on Saturday Oct. 31.
The show coincides with the release of the Foo Fighters' 'Greatest Hits' collection which is available on Nov. 2, ahead of the eponymous debut from Them Crooked Vultures which arrives just over two weeks later (Nov. 17).
At time of going to press well over 10,000 Facebook members had signed up to attend the event. Attendees can update their Facebook status during the show in order to share their views on the band's performance.
