Jay-Z Offers Chance of Collaboration to Noel Gallagher

Jay-Z has extended an olive branch in Noel Gallagher's direction saying that he would have "no problem" with a potential collaboration, even though nothing is actually in the pipeline.

The former Oasis star was highly critical of Jay-Z's inclusion as a headlining act at the 2008 Glastonbury Festival, prompting the rapper to open his show with video footage of Noel's comments and an ironic cover of 'Wonderwall.'

Clearly the self-proclaimed J-Hova has no hard feelings though, telling BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat: "It was an offhand comment, someone asked me if I would work with him. I don't have any problem so I said anything is possible."

He continued, "It's not like we had any talks of doing it, it's like someone asked me would you work with him, I said 'Yeah, I don't have any problem with it.'"

Recently Jay-Z also stated his desire to work with Noel's estranged brother Liam, telling UK tabloid newspaper the Sun, "I'd love to work with Liam," adding, "I don't know what he is up to now but he can give me a call."

Should the collaborations actually happen we'd advise some very careful scheduling in Jay-Z's camp -- unless the rapper fancies playing peacemaker.
