Stone Roses' Singer Ian Brown Arrested for 'Domestic Assault'

Former Stone Roses singer Ian Brown has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife.

Police were called to Brown's home in Holland Park, west London, after neighbours phoned the emergency services and reported a disturbance. When officers arrived, the singer's wife -- 37-year-old Mexican model and actress Fabiola Quiroz -- said Brown had attacked her.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Police were called around 8am on Nov. 2 to reports of a disturbance at a residential address in London W14. A 37-year-old woman made an allegation of domestic assault. A 46-year-old man was arrested and he was taken to a west London police station and subsequently bailed pending further enquiries until a date in December."

Brown recently released his sixth solo album 'My Way' and is due to begin a solo tour at the end of the month.

Must be something about a man whos last name is brown that goes with assaulting there gf/wife.lol chris brown now ian brown!!!!! Im gonna make a metal note o never date a guy with that last name.lol

anyone who assaults their partner needs to go to jail. in the state im in they are coming down hard on these animals. my soon to be ex son in law tried to strangle my daughter and she was in the e r for 6 hours and he was arrested was held for 12 hours and now has to go to trial for domestic violence cause the damn foold plead not guilty at the arraignment. the deal they offered him and that was the best he was going to get, was 20 days in jail, 2 years probation, and 13,500.00 in restitution for her hospital bills. and the idiot plead not guilty so now he can get up to two years in prison. when the states come down hard on these idiots then it might stop.

I am getting extremely dubious of "celebrity couples" screaming abuse at the hands of their spouse. Looks like the eaSIEST WAY TO GET (1) PRESS,(2) IMMEDIATE CUSTODY OF THE HOUSE, OR SIMPLY GET THE COPS INVOLVED.This attitude diminishes the real instances of abuse.

Apart from the fact I've never heard of him either, where do men get off thinking it's okay to assault their partner? How much of a man is he then for doing that.
