It's not hyperbole to say that Tegan and Sara's new album, 'Sainthood,' was among the most anticipated of 2009. And while fans' hunger for new tunes has been satiated, folks will have to wait until February for a proper tour. But rest your pretty little heads: Tegan and Sara are just as excited about the jaunt as you."The bigger the audiences get, and the more countries that we go to ... there's something about us that attracts the same sort of type of person in every country," Sara Quin tells Spinner at the band's Interface. "There are so many more similarities than differences but I find European audiences to be unhinged a lot, especially in the UK."
"They do a lot of clapping over their heads," Tegan quipped.
"More clapping, drinking -- it's wild," Sara said. "Whereas Canadian audiences, for example -- there's a politeness, there's something super-reserved about them. But I love touring in the States because each coast has a vibe and each city has a vibe, so it sort of keeps you on your toes. America is probably our biggest audience so doing the tours there are always really exciting."
