The Ting Tings, 'Great DJ' -- Video Premiere

The Ting Tings have established a reputation for themselves with their eye-popping music videos. On Sept. 19, the English pop duo invited 350 of their fans in Los Angeles to join them for a live performance that would go on to become the video for their single 'Great DJ.'

However, this is far from your run-of-the-mill live performance video. All 350 partygoers were given matching black Adidas tracksuits and invited to go wild with some glow-in-the-dark paint. The psychedelic results of this indie-rock paint party are definitely worth watching. Have a look after the jump.

Slow entertainment news day at aol. I thought I'd never catch myself requesting this: show Britney or Lindsay. Britney and Lindsay trump the Ting Tings? Think about it, aol.

Yes, it sucks pretty bad but this is what the music industry is passing off as music these days. They wonder why nobody buys CDs anymore. Who's gonna pay for this crap?

Time for the moguls to pull their collective heads out of their asses and take the business away from the lawyers and accountants. A&R people, and CREATIVE individuals should be running the business, not the suits.

At least it wasn't Rap (barf) music. Find the deepest hole. Fill it with excrement, and then everything that has to do with the "Hip Hop scene" and bury it forever! This includes the crime that seems to go hand in hand with the "players" who think hip hop is cool!

Also, these Ting a lings suck as well. What every happened to talented bands such as Led Zepplin? Ting Iings, give me a break!

Wow, you people need to stop only listening to what the radio plays. The Ting Tings are a very talented band (even if you don't like this song you can't judge an entire band's work based on one song)...but many of you will probably never hear them anyways because they don't get radio play. There's more (and usually better) music out there than what the radio is telling you to listen to. Your loss I guess.

Maybe for their next song they can learn harmony and maybe even another chord.

Not my kind of music (a little teeny-bopper-ish), but hey at least they're actually playing instruments! Not great, but I'd take this over somebody scratching up records and making mouth noises in a microphone. . .

I could not watch the whole video. Not my kind of music. The video was nothing more than a rave style mess

I'm 47 and I like to listen to new music as well as the classic stuff I grew up with, but I have to agree how is this rock n roll. It's bad enough that any idiot can get into the rock n roll hall of fame, but there's not alot of good bands out there , what happened to the drum solos, guitar solos. I thought I'd hate Kid Rock , but by my music standards he offer's the total rock n roll package. even when he remakes a song it doesn't lose it's rock roots. I can't listen to this song I hope some of there other stuff is better (much)

Didnt really sound bad to me not my type of music but its not hard to listen to.A little mix of techno and trance or whatever.Myself I prefer the classic rock music. But I cant stand Sherryl Crowe Id rather listen to the ting tings any day.

And thats very true about the radio only playing songs they pick out to play and so much good music most people will never hear.Edgar winter has about 25 cds out now,and most people have heard only two of his songs because thats all they have ever played on radio. The incredible diversity of styles and songs hes done will never have a mass market just due to the way things are done in broadcast. He deserves better, legally bling and plays 147 different instruments, was at woodstock and still touring and producing new music and cds.Can you imagine not getting more publicity or media attention doesnt he deserve better?

You are sooo right about Edgar. His brother Johnny too. Hell, everybody that did the Roadwork album ought to get back together and do it again. Would that be the jam or not???
