The Ting Tings, 'Great DJ' -- Video Premiere
- Posted on Nov 4th 2009 11:00AM by Adam Horne
The Ting Tings have established a reputation for themselves with their eye-popping music videos. On Sept. 19, the English pop duo invited 350 of their fans in Los Angeles to join them for a live performance that would go on to become the video for their single 'Great DJ.'However, this is far from your run-of-the-mill live performance video. All 350 partygoers were given matching black Adidas tracksuits and invited to go wild with some glow-in-the-dark paint. The psychedelic results of this indie-rock paint party are definitely worth watching. Have a look after the jump.

Poor misguided people on here. Ting Tings are wonderful - only problem is that they don't release enough material. If you don't like this song (which we absolutely adore) then it really would be worth your while listening to a few more of their fantastic tracks, for example 'That's not my Name' which reached No. 1 in the UK and has been voted the world's greatest single of all time.

Please before you start slandering good bands because you are not familiar with their backgrounds and origins please go read a book or use the internet for more than useless bashing of good people and good music.

Even if you don't like their music you must admit that it's much better than the crap playing on the radio these days. It may be sad to you but it's true. And The Ting Tings do sell tons of albums in Europe. Why? Because Europeans have much more style, culture, and taste. America is a very young country and we are already driving it into a hole, we have much to learn. We Americans are stupid and naive, and sorry we don't have much taste anymore. When I hear The Ting Tings, I hear enlightenment.

November 07 2009 at 8:45 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWow! dat's so amazing why people don't like chilly party music, dat's a very simple based song with nice instrumental, stop hating please... This music is for people who don't care about what people think what people say, they're just calling their whole crew and party... Too much madness, people please take it easy...

As for the people complaining because they don't like the music... fine.
But I guess you can continue to wait for the next led zep release or listen to someone redo an old song and say 'that's the way music should be... the same it is always was, with nothin' changing'
yawn.... it's called progress and if you continue to go back and listen to the same thing over and over and over again, then you will never get any new influences.
thiis was the best night ever
the ting tings are amazing
and they are plenty better than the other "bands" out there today
it's amazing how just two people can play such amazing music
if you get a chance to see them live you'd understand
and...the haters, you obviously don't know the greatness that is the ting tings until you give them a chance
so stop commenting where you don't belong
haters get out
