    Man Stabbed After Dissing AC/DC

AC/DC's Brian Johnson and Angus YoungA Winnipeg man will serve two years in prison for the dirty deed of stabbing an acquaintance when the visitor ridiculed his choice of music: AC/DC.

After drinking a few beers together in James Ivison's rooming-house apartment, the visiting neighbor began questioning Ivison's manhood, sparking a brawl. When the victim picked up a frying pan, Ivison stabbed him five times in the midsection with a kitchen knife. The prosecuting attorney told the court that Ivison became enraged when his neighbor suggested he was a little, you know, AC/DC.

Luckily, the victim's major organs were unharmed. The prosecutor said a longer sentence would've been sought if the victim had cooperated with the investigation. ""He wasn't overly interested in assisting the prosecution," the prosecutor, Dave Mann, told the Winnipeg Sun. "He said he felt empowered by this -- if this didn't kill him nothing would."

This story has nothing to do with the band AC/DC! He was stabbed because his buddy was questioning his manhood, not Stabbed After Dissing AC/DC!

Is that when they had Hell's Angel's bikers as security and they stabbed or killed a fan? I think?

    Gary,
FYI, the death at the Rolling Stones concert in Altamont, CA was the result of the Hell's Angels, who were hired by promoter Bill Graham as security for the event killing a man who was allegedly "pointing a gun at Jagger."
The officials justified the killing so this is nothing at all like two morons arguing about the meaning of AC/DC.

To bad it wasn't a murder/ suicide. This type of behaviour makes me believe the gene pool is a cess pool.

If the "victim" was stabbed while wielding a frying pan, wouldn't that make the stabbing "self defense"? Or was the stabber supposed to let the stabee clock him over the head with a frying pan?

The person who was stabbed and killed by a Hell's Angel was shooting at The Stones as they were playing. It's on film for crying out loud. If that Angel didn't do what he did, one of the Stones or the crew would've been shot to death.
The idea of using the Angels for security came from Sam Cutler, the Grateful Dead's road manager. It was not a good idea, because they let the Angels park their bikes in front of the stage and that was an even worse idea because people rush the stage all the time. But since the Stones were using the Dead's equipment rather than ship their own out to Altamont, it seemed like a good idea at the time.
