Despite his reputation as the "bad boy" in the Backstreet Boys -- or, perhaps, because of it -- it's not hard to imagine that AJ McLean doesn't actually listen to bubblegum pop music himself. At least not exclusively. Indeed, he confesses to Spinner that, off the clock, he's more of a rock guy and considers himself "a huge Green Day fan." Just because he's a man in a boy band doesn't mean he's an American idiot.
