The Arctic Monkeys are giving their fans another reason to visit Oxfam charity stores in the UK – once again the chain will be the only outlet stocking copies of their new single 'Cornerstone.'The single, the second to be taken from their third studio album Humbug, which was released in August. The first single, 'Crying Lightning,' was only available in the charity's stories on 7", and sold more than 10,000 copies.
The 10" version of 'Cornerstone' will be available from Oxfam's top 50 music shops across the UK on Monday Nov. 16.
Laurence Bell, founder of the band's label Domino, said: "Our co-operation with Oxfam around the 'Crying Lightning' single was a great success for all parties and did plenty of good. We are extending the partnership for the release of 'Cornerstone', which will hopefully drive many more punters to both shop in and donate to Oxfam stores."
The band and their label are asking fans to bring any unwanted singles or albums to stores when they buy their copy of 'Cornerstone.'
