The original Killing Joke line-up of vocalist Jaz Coleman (pictured), guitarist Geordie, bassist Youth and drummer Paul Ferguson are set to release their 13th studio album and embark on a European tour in 2010 to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The album, slated for release in April 2010, will bear the fruit of sessions which will see the four musicians reunited in a studio for the first time in 27 years. Their previously rocky relationship was road-tested in 2008 on a major world tour.
The band will then hit the road again on Apr. 15 at the Picture House in Edinburgh before returning to London for a prestigious show at the Hammersmith Apollo on Apr. 16. They then cross the continent for a series of shows which culminate on Apr. 29 at the Nosturi, Helsinki.
The full tour is as follows:
Edinburgh Picture House (Apr. 15)
London Hammersmith Apollo (Apr. 16)
Paris Bataclan (Apr. 19)
Brussels AB Main Hall (Apr. 20)
Amsterdam Melkweg (Apr. 21)
Cologne Werkstatt (Apr. 23)
Hamburg Grunspan (Apr. 24)
Prague Lucerna Music Bar (Apr. 26)
Katowice Mega Club (Apr. 27)
Warsaw Palladium (Apr. 28)
Helsinki Nosturi (Apr. 29)
