Thom Yorke has made it clear that he's not a fan of the British government's proposal to build more nuclear power plants. In a post on Radiohead's Dead Air Space Monday, the frontman blogged about his stance in a piece titled "Nuclear Power No Thanks." "Under pressure from the CBI and under the confused assumption that we can carry on consuming power as we do now into the future and too afraid to think out of their own isolated political fuzzy cloud, the British government is committing to build a new round of nuclear power stations for which we don't have the money," Yorke wrote in one heck of a run-on sentence.
"Great. Just perfect. Well done fellas," Yorke added with a shot of sarcasm directed at both the Confederation of British Industry and Prime Minister Gordon Brown. "You've really thought about this haven't you?"
Yorke's latest sentiment is a far cry from his previous post, a trippy Halloween playlist called "Happy f---in Halloweed." Rounding out his screed, Yorke offered fans resources like the anti-nuclear power sites from Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth.
