Band of Horses will headline a children's benefit in Los Angeles later this month that will also feature stripped-down sets from Tom Morello's Nightwatchman solo project, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Against Me! frontman Tom Gabel and Garbage's Shirley Manson. The gig, set for the Avalon in Hollywood on Nov. 21, will help raise money for the Pablove Foundation. "We're really excited to announce a very special benefit show in Los Angeles to raise money for children's cancer research," Band of Horses frontman Ben Bridwell announced. "We hope you guys can help us get the word out and help families fighting this terrible disease."
The event will also feature sets from Sea Wolf, Butch Walker, the Honorary Title's Jarrod Gorbel and Songs for Kids. The Pablove Foundation raises money to improve the lives of kids with cancer and help to fund pediatric cancer research, helping families without health insurance and improve hospital playrooms.
