Rising Toronto rapper Drake first made his name with hip-hop takes on hipster tracks by Lykki Li and Santigold. Now he's the one whose original tunes are getting the remix treatment. The latest comes courtesy of Toronto duo Fraggle Rock DJs (Yale Fox and Jonesian) who strip the all-star cameos off Drake's 'Forever' and replace them with a dark, dubstep club sheen. "I picked this track because the original really gets me fired up. Drake has a very unique style and flow. He slows it down on the chorus, which is why it makes it such a perfect fit for a dubstep track," Fox, who wrote his university thesis on how song selection impacts drink sales at nightclubs, tells Spinner. "I don't know [Drake] personally, but I know his valet parking in Toronto and I had them burn it to a CD for him. They're putting it in his car so it's the first thing he hears next time he takes it out for a spin!"
Check it out after the jump.

The production value of this song really sucks...Before releasing something try getting it mixed or mastered by someone who understands what they are doing. I am very surprised this song even made it on this site. Although I am pleased to hear the song gets the re-mixers "fired up"

Hey Mike,
Please let me know what you think is wrong with the mixing and mastering of this track. It sounds great to me and I've been working in a recording studio for years.
