Rock 'n' Roll always was larger than life, thereby making rock stars and rock concerts perfect candidates for the silver screen. For a one-week-only engagement beginning Dec. 11, digital film company Cinedigm will present the concert film 'Larger Than Life ... in 3D' at select cinemas, including, hopefully, a theater near you. The movie will feature recent live footage from Dave Matthews Band, Gogol Bordello and Ben Harper and Relentless7. Cinedigm cameras also captured performances at a number of major festivals this year including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and Phish's Festival 8.
Plans for the 2010 cinematic release of at least two of those festivals are already underway. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer for 'Larger Than Life ... in 3D' here. Keep in mind that no matter what your state of mind, Dells and MacBooks are not in 3D, dude, so take off those silly glasses and just watch the clip.
