Morrissey's Liverpool Echo Arena show will now not be rescheduled, organisers have confirmed. The singer walked off stage at the venue only two songs into his headlining set on Nov. 7 after a drink, thrown from the crowd, hit him on the side of the head.It was initially hoped that the date would be rescheduled in the near future but show promoters have now said that they are "unable" to do so. In a statement they said, "The event organisers have been unable to reschedule the Morrissey concert. As previously notified, refunds will be available to all customers who purchased tickets from authorised outlets. Where possible customers will be notified directly by email."
Having been struck by the drink Morrissey, who had been shaking hands with fans at the front of the crowd, stood up and simply said "goodbye" before dropping his microphone and walking to the wings.
The incident was reported to Merseyside Police by Echo Arena general manager Tim Banfield.
