Charlotte Gainsbourg feat. Beck, 'Heaven Can Wait' -- Video Premiere

Charlotte GainsbourgCharlotte Gainsburg is a woman of many talents. The French singer-songwriter and actress has most recently been making waves in the film world for her performance in the controversial film 'Antichrist.' Her experience on the movie influenced her forthcoming album, 'IRM,' and for proof, look no further than Gainsburg's new video for 'Heaven Can Wait.'

The clip, also starring duet partner and 'IRM' producer Beck, features a series of striking visual non sequiturs set in slow motion. A man with pancakes for a head, a game of fruit baseball and a half-beard are among the surrealist absurdities. Have a look at the exclusive video premiere after the jump.

    Again, Pitchfork is wrong.

The video was a tad pretentious but the tune wasn't too bad. I have to agree that Pitchfork over-exaggerated, severely.

The only amazing thing about this video is how Beck is finally starting to look kind of old.

Are we on a website for post-fashionista snobs ? Or are you exclusively coming here to target Pitchfork ? Very strange to find 3 negative comments in a row when 99% of people (including me, which counts double) find the video is simply great ?

Actually I liked the video I found it be very artistic and appealing to the thoughful side of what is life, of what people may be like under their exterior and the music very well went the video.

Bit like the Blair Witch Movie, cheap to make, left all to the imagination. But well acted.

Is it true that all these scenes are reproductions of pictures found on ffffound and other websited like it?

Now watch Sarah Blasko sing "No turning back". Can't possibly be a coincidence that they have the same riff?
