Queen drummer Roger Taylor has revealed tentative plans to hit the road for a short tour with a fellow sticksman. Speaking to BBC 6 Music, Taylor said he wants to play a number of dates with Foo Fighters tubthumper Taylor Hawkins. "I've been thinking about doing a tour next year -- a very quick tour -- with Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters," he told the radio station. "He's like one of my best blood brothers! So we might do that. That sounds like fun."
This wouldn't be the first time that members of Queen and Foo Fighters have performed together. Roger Taylor and Queen guitarist Brian May joined Foo Fighters onstage at London's Hyde Park in June 2006 to play 'We Will Rock You' and 'Tie Your Mother Down.'
Taylor also spoke of his pride at his former band's achievement of spending more time in the UK charts than the Beatles.
"I'm a big Beatles fan, but it's wonderful," he said. "Things like that are very nice, they're really cherry's on top of our age."
He then added modestly: "I think it's a technical achievement, but it's very nice. I'll tell my mum."

I loved seeing Queen with Paul Rodgers on tour since I missed that one chance to see them with Freddie. Rodgers is a hero , tenement funster! He has penned the coolest rockstar lyrics in my book.
And yea, we miss you John Deacon! I would love to see the group back playing live.... just my freaky prediction... Ricky Martin on vocals. I think it would be surreal and media chum....
Roger is and always will be a inspiration to lovers of rock music and his contribution will always exsist as will the rest of Queen ps give 1 more go JOHN?
