Morrissey Ejects Fan From German Gig After F-Word Rant

He's already collapsed onstage in Swindon, walked out of a Liverpool show after only two songs after being hit on the head with a bottle and now Morrissey has had a fan thrown out of his show in Hamburg.

The singer's highly eventful European tour hit the German city on Nov. 17 for a gig at the CCH1 venue, and during the show a heckler was ejected at Morrissey's request. The aftermath of the incident was captured by a fan-shot video and uploaded to YouTube alongside a description of the clip which suggests that the incident was the result of comments Morrissey had made.

The singer is said to have "cracked a joke" about "Hamburgers," saying that they should be called "Hamburgists." Apparently a fan then reacted strongly to this by shouting "f--- you" at the singer. In the video Morrissey can then be seen responding by pointing at the man before addressing him through his microphone.

"Go. We don't need you, we don't need you," he says while directing the heckler to the venue's exits. He then adds: "In fact you can leave and you can f--- yourself. Go, go!" Another fan can then be heard shouting, "Well done Morrissey!"

Security guards then appear to seemingly deal with the fan while the former Smiths frontman crosses the stage to shake hands with other audience members. Once he's happy that the situation has been resolved his band then launch into a rendition of his old band's classic 'Ask.'

The tour continues in Munich in Friday (Nov. 20) before moving on to Dublin on Nov. 23. Morrissey then embarks on a short US tour beginning in Seattle on Nov. 29.

He's an alternative rock icon. He emerged in the 1980s as the singer of the Smiths. While not as commercial popular (especially in the United States) as fellow alt-rockers R.E.M., the Smiths remain a permanent fixture of early alternative rock. After the Smiths broke up, Morrissey embarked on a solo career in which he experienced critical success but inconsistant commercial fortune. Personally, he is seen as eccentric and particular with many persistant rumors of him being gay.

Okay,so what did Morrissey sing for the other 2 people in the audience??
If he was so terribly offended by the use of that word, then he shouldnt have used it himself in response. He sounds like a prima dona to me.

Morrissey is a pretentious ass who's music sux. He is popular with depressed college students who believe he "gets them", but actually his depressing whiney songs just make them feel sad.He has a history of histronics like this because he fells like an important "artiste" but the truth is he is a never been not even a has been.

Have no clue who this guy is, I agree the fan should have been asked to leave, it's not necessary to shout obsenities, in fact it's quite childish, There's a time and a place for that language, and around other then your own friends it's not the the time or place. He was right up until he used the bomb himself, if he throws someone out for using it then he had no business using it himself so in my estimation they were both wrong.

Is it necessary to learn how to spell obscenities?
