My Morning Jacket Appear on 'American Dad'

As Spinner previously reported, My Morning Jacket made its animated television debut on FOX's 'American Dad.' Airing on Sunday night, the indie folk-rock band did more than just a three-second cameo.
The show featured 'American Dad' Stan Smith fighting his daughter's admiration for the band. However, after hearing frontman Jim James' falsetto, Stan ends up completely falling for the MMJ. The devotion gets trippy with a dream sequence set to the band's 'Touch Me I'm Going to Scream Pt. 2' where Stan flies with owls, heads to space and gives James a ride on his back.
Aside from MMJ, comedian and actor Zach Galifianakis ('The Hangover,' HBO's 'Bored to Death') lends his voice to the show as Norman, an MMJ superfan who sells Stan a creepy bootleg of James in the bathroom. Check out a clip from the episode below.
