The Rolling Stones have released a new digital package of their 1971 hit 'Wild Horses.' The reissue comes after a performance of the song on the 'X Factor' TV show on Sunday (Nov. 22) by 'Britain's Got Talent' finalist and YouTube sensation Susan Boyle. Boyle has recorded a version of the song for her debut album 'I Dreamed a Dream' which was released yesterday (Nov. 23). 'Wild Horses' is the opening track on the album.
The Stones release features the original song alongside a version recorded for the band's 1995 album 'Stripped' and a video featuring a live performance of the song at Knebworth in 1976.
Whether the decision to release the original is in direct competition with Boyle's is yet to be confirmed.
