Signed Radiohead and Elbow Gear Up for Charity Auction

No strangers to charitable works, digital distribution pioneers Radiohead, Mercury Prize winners Elbow and former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne are just some of the big names who have donated items and other memorabilia for auction to raise much needed funds for the Music Beats Mines project.Run by the Mines Advisory Group, the charity aims to clear landmines, unexploded bombs and other remnants of war that continue to blight civilian lives long after conflict has ended.
Among the items up for auction include signed copies of Doves' latest album, 'Kingdom of Rust,' signed original artwork from Radiohead's 2000 album, 'Kid A', a 'Very Best of the Stone Roses' poster signed by Ian Brown and bassist Mani and plethora of signed CD and vinyl from Elbow.
The bidding starts at 6pm GMT tonight (Nov. 27) at the group's auction page where a full list of items awaits potential bidders.
