Reformed Britpoppers Blur follow their summer of highly successful reunion gigs with news that a feature-length documentary based on their decision to work together again and the history preceding it is set to hit British cinemas in January 2010.Shot during the band's 2009 rehearsals and acclaimed summer tour, 'No Distance Left to Run' chronicles the return of the band that, along with Oasis, came to dominate the British music scene in the mid-90s. The film will also feature previously unseen archive material alongside new interviews and reportage and tells the story from the band's inception in the late 1980s, their traumatic split with guitarist Graham Coxon during the recording of 'Think Tank' and their triumphant comeback gigs at Hyde Park and the Glastonbury Festival.
'No Distance Left to Run' is directed by 32 (Dylan Southern & Will Lovelace) and is released worldwide on Jan. 19 2010.
