Though he's definitely had a storied career himself, German house icon DJ Hell still found it an honor to get the chance to work with Bryan Ferry, a man legendary for both his solo work and leading art rock pioneers Roxy Music. "I was always fascinated by Ferry - not only his music but himself as an iconic figure - and wanted to work with him for a long time," Hell says, and he finally got his chance in 2006 when Ferry handed off the previously-unreleased Roxy Music track 'U Can Dance' for a remix treatment. The remix, though, which Ferry describes as having a "completely different arrangement and feel," turned out to be a large enough departure to merit its own release a single under Hell's moniker. The collaboration between the two legends lives up to its promise, as the song's chilly synths, pulsating beats, and of course Ferry's utterly distinct vocals combine to form one epic dance anthem. Now, director Jo Apps has collaborated with for a video that Hell claims captures "our world of glamour and sophistication." To find out just what that glamour looks like (hint: there's plenty of glitter and fancy clothing involved), check out the video below, exclusively on Spinner.
