tori rocks!
She's good, but not the greatest ever ...Ever hear of Joni Mitchell, Joan Armatrading, Annie Lennox, or Julia Fordham?
I can still remember the first time I heard 'Crucify', it was the EP version (the one where she's wearing a Leek Necklace)...Blew me away. Ever notice on Little Earthquakes, on the front cover, she's in a box...on the sleeve, the box is empty...THAT was brilliant ( I won't get into the back cover Tee-Hee)...That has to be one of the most cathartic, developmentally astute albums ever...She got it all out. More people need to think outside the box. I won't deny she's simply brilliant, but not the best ever...That title is Joni's...ask any of them who their biggest influence was, they generally say Joni. IMHO also.
tori is my favorite musician of all time.
