Liam Gallagher Declares Love for Noel

Despite the rows, tantrums and seemingly terminal split, it seems that blood really is thicker than water as Liam Gallagher publicly declared his love for older brother and erstwhile Oasis chief, Noel Gallgher.

The singer was speaking at the launch of his Pretty Green clothing line at the Manchester branch of Selfridges. He told Sky News: "He's doing his thing, we're doing our thing, I wish him all the best.

"I don't wish him anything bad, I'm his brother. I love him to death."

Gallagher minor went on to explain that he and the other former members of Oasis - guiatrists Gem Archer and Andy Bell and one-time Robbie Williams drummer Chris Sharrock - had added a bassist to the line-up but had still to decide on a new band name.

"We're sorta going through the mill of getting a new name, nothing's sticking, so we've drawn the line on the names at the moment," he said. "People are still gonna go, 'It's still Oasis, but it's not Oasis without Noel' – life's too short to be arsing about with what people think and that. We'll see what happens, we're concentrating on the music at the moment."
