The Strokes Announce Second 2010 Festival Headliner

After years of missing in action save for their solo projects, iconic New York rockers the Strokes have announced their second UK headline festival date for 2010. Having been confirmed as headliners at next year's Isle of Wight Festival, the band is set to headline the Rock Ness Festival in June next year.Festival director Jim King said: "We're definitely going to have our best ever line up this year with some of the strongest new acts to be announced over the coming months.
"We're also targeting acts that have been hugely influential over the last decade and none come bigger than the Strokes."
Also confirmed for the festival are Friendly Fires and 2 Many DJs, who have the honour of being the "official house band' of their own arena.
Early bird tickets for the festival are on sale now from the Rockness website with general sale commencing on Dec. 7.
