Eric Clapton Announces Tour With Roger Daltrey

With his nonstop touring and endless array of projects, CDs and -- lately -- collaborations, the Eric Clapton news ticker just keeps on ticking. The iconic guitarist just added eleven new North American tour dates to his February 2010 schedule. As if playing Madison Square Garden with Jeff Beck and then touring with Steve Winwood across Europe in the coming months isn't enough, Slowhand is bringing the Who's Roger Daltrey out with him this time. How's that for an opener? It means "Who's on first?" jokes just got a whole lot richer.Clapton just received two Grammy nominations for last year's collaboration with Steve Winwood, including one for the song 'Can't Find My Way Home' which the pair originally recorded back in 1969 with Blind Faith. The live version that's up for the award was taken from the album 'Live from Madison Square Garden,' which is, itself, nominated for Best Rock Album. There just isn't a category yet for Best Monster of Rock Album. Otherwise...

the last concert I attended was the Who on there last american tour. After that I was pretty much of the thought that I have seen my last show.But Roger and Eric playing together? I might have to rethink that.
