More Acts Confirmed for Isle of Wight Festival

So we know it's getting colder as we hurtle inexorably towards Christmas -- that's why you're wearing an extra two layers as you step out of your front door -- but the organisers of next summer's Isle of Wight festival have brought a little sunshine into the lives of sufferers of Seasonal Adjustment Disorder by announcing the next batch of acts set grace the event.

Mancunians James and Doves will join mod revivalists Ocean Colour Scene, a reformed Shakespears Sister, girl group the Saturdays, the hotly-tipped Daisy Dares You and technicolour singer Paloma Faith.

As previously reported on Spinnermusic, rapper Jay-Z and New York indie darlings the Strokes will headline the festival though no word is forthcoming as to who the third headliner might be.

Also confirmed for the festival -- which takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport between Jun. 11 - 13 -- are Blondie, Orbital and Pink.
