George Michael Swears on BBC Radio

It must have seemed like a flashback to the Britpop days of the mid 90s when bad language was the norm on 'TFI Friday'. Presenter Chris Evans was forced to apologise to listeners of BBC Radio 2's drivetime show yesterday (Dec. 16) after George Michael dropped the F-word whilst the pair discussed the television programme 'Top Gear.'The singer attempted to cover his faux pas by claiming that he'd said "Fecking" -- a reference to the sitcom 'Father Ted' -- but the damage has already been done.
Discussing the TV show, Evans said to Michael: "You'd love that programme."
George Michael then replied: "Other than the fact that I'd be afraid of coming last on that f------ programme..." It was at this point that Evans was forced to apologise.
It wasn't the singer's first clanger on the show. Earlier on, he was heard using the phrases "rat-arsed" and "pissed off" though these passed off without an on-air apology.
This is the kind of incident that Evans could do without. The DJ is set to take over Terry Wogan's breakfast slot on Radio 2 and news of his appointment has met with a mixed reaction.
Audio of the incident can be heard on the Radio Fail website.

I guess some people literally don't have anything to say and they have to resort to this. What a shame these people can't get their own websites...or if they have them, they can't seem to get any attention without doing this. Cripes...
